The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra was the Android tablet of choice for power users until the Tab S9 Ultra arrived. But, not only was it a huge outlay for a tablet at around $1,100, it was also the model of the three in that Tab S8 generation that was almost never on sale. Best Buy is bucking that trend today with a huge $400 discount on the powerhouse slate.

It may have a successor with a few new bells and whistles, but the raw specs of the Tab S8 Ultra still square up to some of the best devices on the market. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip powers a huge 14.6-inch Super AMOLED QHD display — the same as on the Tab S9 Ultra — and, while this model comes with 128GB storage, it's expandable to 1TB with a microSD. A few of the many other impressive features include 8GB RAM, an ultrawide dual front 4K camera with auto framing, three mics with noise cancelation, a large battery, and the S Pen. All for almost half the price of the later model.

Best Buy also offers a slew of other incentives to lock in this deal. If you have a device to trade in, you can make further savings on the tablet, meaning you may only have to pay a few hundred bucks for your new device. There are also some free subscriptions, such as a month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, six months of Norton 360 that comes with a VPN, three months of Google One 100GB, and three months of YouTube Premium. Not bad at all.

Samsung has launched a £300 discount code for its Tab S8+ tablet, making it one of the cheapest prices yet. The tech giant's latest offer comes as UK retailers Currys, John Lewis, and Very have all slashed their prices on high-end devices ahead of the May 6 bank holiday weekend.

Samsung's Galaxy brand products have already proven to be a hit in the sales, with shoppers currently able to save £200 on the Galaxy ZFlip5 smartphone range. TV enthusiasts who pre-order a new 2024 AI device will receive a Galaxy S24 phone absolutely free.

The Tab S8+ tablet, originally priced at £999, can now be snapped up for £699 when using the code SAMSUNGTABS8* at checkout. This includes a 128GB device, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a brand new SPen.

Despite the newer Tab S9 range slightly outperforming the S8+ model, the latter offers incredible value for money, especially considering it only launched at the end of 2022.

If you're keen on this deal, you'll need to act before May 31, 2024. There's ample time to consider if it's the right fit for you, but remember to mark the end date because once it's gone, it's gone, reports the Mirror.

We've seen similar deals with the more luxurious Tab S9 Ultra recently, where Samsung offered two free accessories with any purchase, but the opportunity to snag free Buds 2 Pro earbuds and a Galaxy Watch 4 was short-lived.

If the Tab S9 Ultra seems more your style - its tech specs and features are largely comparable, with the main difference being its larger 14.6-inch screen size - you could shave as much as £450 off the price with a trade-in. This is something tech enthusiasts eager to get their hands on the latest device might want to keep in mind.

The Tab S9 Ultra is the largest and fastest tablet in Samsung's new 2023 range, so naturally, users should expect to pay a premium for its enhanced specs. With prices starting at £1,199, you're paying for its larger 14.6-inch screen, Dynamic AMOLED 2x display, and extended battery life.

Of course, anyone with an older tablet (from any brand) can take advantage of Samsung's regular 'trade-in' deal. Similar to Curry's 'cash-for-trash' recycling scheme, where you receive a discount for trading in old tech, this could reduce the price of the Tab S9 Ultra by up to £450.

This means you could potentially pay just £749 for the tablet and still receive £368 worth of freebies. Samsung's trade-in offer is a key reason why our tech team at The Express often refers to the brand as a good money-saver. Even on flagship devices like its S24 phone range, customers can receive a discount for trading in an old piece of tech - even if it sometimes amounts to just £100.

Samsung's Flagship-grade Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Still Enjoys Deeply Reduced Prices At Best Buy

Did you get a chance to buy a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra at $400 off through Best Buy's exceptionally generous offer? Don't worry if you didn't, for the device still retails at the same discount we've seen several times.

This deal has been active for some time, but it remains one of the best bargains we've ever seen for the Samsung powerhouse of 2022. And when you consider that rival merchants Amazon and Walmart don't have the same ongoing deals, Best Buy's offer gets all the more exciting.

By the way, you can get a discounted Galaxy Tab S9 at Amazon for roughly the same price. This bad boy is now available at a $101 cheaper price through the e-commerce giant's promo. In case you'd like something more contemporary, you might want to check out this deal.

Still among the best Android tablets, the Tab S8 Ultra is everything you could expect from a flagship slate. Stunning screen, great performance capabilities, multitasking options, and more – the whole shebang is here! But let's get into detail to learn just why it deserves your investment.

So, for just about $700, you get an Android 12-powered tablet with a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED screen and refresh rates of up to 120Hz. The visuals here are crisp, there's plenty of detail, and colors are as vivid as they go. And that's just the beginning!

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is doing its magic, giving you amazing performance for the tablet's current price. Then again, this bad boy isn't as powerful as the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2021), so do keep that in mind.

Since this is a flagship Samsung tablet, it also showcases quite the camera setup. On the back, the slate features a dual camera configuration with a 13MP main and a 6MP sensor, both of which take great photos. Whenever you feel like video chatting with friends, the 12MP dual front camera with autofocus keeps you in the spotlight throughout the conversation.

Rounding out the package is an 11,200mAh battery that promises all-day battery life. Finally, although released two years ago, the slate should remain trendy until 2026, giving you two more years to enjoy the flagship experience it provides.
