How To Set Up An Apple Genius Bar Appointment And Reserve A Time To Receive In-person Tech Support
When your Apple devices or their software aren't working the way they should, there are various ways to get in touch with an Apple expert to resolve your issue.
For hardware repairs, you can mail your product to an Apple Repair Center or take it to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. For general questions, you can talk to someone via online chat, phone, or email.
But if you're looking for in-person tech support without the waiting, set up a Genius Bar appointment to show an Apple expert precisely what's going on and learn about your options for resolving your issue.
While you can make a Genius Bar appointment in-store, due to Apple stores' high customer traffic, it's a good idea to make one before you arrive to get the quickest and most hassle-free one-on-one assistance.

Apple Promo Codes For June 2024
FAQs How do I contact Apple? You can contact the Apple customer service team by calling 0800 048 0408. Alternatively, you can visit the contact page on their website.
Does Apple offer student discounts?Students aged 16+, parents of students, and people working in education can get exclusive access to discounts and promotions over at the Apple Education site. Discounts are usually offered upfront via the Apple Education store but there are also occasionally bundle deals to consider - usually around the back-to-school period in early September. Generally speaking, you're going to be able to get a discount of anywhere between $100 to $200 off the latest MacBooks depending on the model, and $50 off iPads.
Does Apple offer military discount? In addition to student discounts, Apple also offers discounts to those affiliated with the military. Both active serving members and veterans can get a 10% sitewide discount on the Apple store right now. To be eligible, you'll need to verify your identity using the ID.Me service.
Does Apple do trade ins?Yep! Apple has a really expansive trade-in program that can be used to get discounts on everything from the latest MacBooks to Apple Watches. You can trade in both Apple devices and third-party electronics to get significant discounts in the form of Apple store credit or Apple gift cards. Trading in can be particularly effective when upgrading to new Apple products as, generally speaking, even fairly old Apple products can fetch really decent trade-in values. As of writing, the maximum credit on offer is up to $1,200 for computers, $540 for smartphones, $445 for tablets, and $160 for smartwatches.
Hints and tipsWait until big retail events: Outright discounts are rare, but the official Apple Store does sometimes offer seasonal promotions around big retail events like Black Friday. While we would hesitate to call these Black Friday deals, you can sometimes get Apple Store gift cards with eligible purchases - which can be handy for when you want to buy more Apple tech down the line. If you're nearing November it's probably a good idea to wait it out and see what crops up on Black Friday at the official Apple Store.
Shop back to school: This tip follows from the one above. If you're a student and it's nearing the traditional back-to-school period of late August / early September then it's worth checking out the Apple Educational website for special seasonal offerings. In recent years we've seen not only upfront discounts (usually offered all year round), but gift cards and options for bundle savings - particularly handy if you're looking to get both a new laptop and tablet. Again, it's likely worth waiting to see what crops up if you're nearing this time on the calendar.
Shop refurbished products: A classic way to save on premium Apple products, the official Apple Refurbished store is a treasure trove of discounts if you're not bothered about getting the latest and greatest. All products sold via the official program are certified by Apple itself, guaranteed under warranty, and repaired using official first-party components so you're always sure to get a decent product even though it's second-hand.
How to use Apple promo codesApple doesn't have a traditional coupon code field like most retailers at checkout. Instead, you can usually get your discounts via upfront savings or proving your eligibility for exclusive discounts like the military and student discounts.
How we source coupon codesWhether it's through our affiliate networks, the depths of the world wide web, or our connections with big name brands, here at TechRadar we use every tool at our disposal to source the latest codes. Our coupons team updates each of our pages multiple times a week with the most recent deals, including exclusive coupons negotiated by our Commercial team. We also include the latest sales info directly from retailers to offer the most up-to-date discounts around.
How we test coupon codesEach coupon you find on TechRadar has been tested before being uploaded by our dedicated Deals & Offers teams. You'll see a range of offers, from free shipping to student discounts, with savings available on all kinds of products & services. To make sure every coupon is ready to use, we don't list any user-specific or one-time codes.
We also include all relevant information about coupons, such as expiry dates and any terms & conditions, near the 'Get Code' button. You can see the details for an individual offer by clicking on the 'Terms & Conditions' text below the code and expanding the code area.
What to do if a coupon code doesn't workAlthough we do our best to ensure all listed codes are tried & tested, sometimes coupons expire or terms & conditions are changed before we can update pages. Our team works hard to make sure our coupons are active and work as intended, and should you encounter an issue when using one, we'll work just as hard to help.
The best place to start is by checking the requirements. Click "View terms and conditions" to expand the code section and see any guidance on your chosen coupon. For example, you may need to meet a minimum spend, add other items to your basket to qualify for a multibuy offer, or confirm that your chosen code applies to the items in your basket (i.E. 10% off laptops).
If you're still having issues using your code, you can email our customer service team on coupons.Techradar@futurenet.Com. Include as many details as possible - such as which code you used and which coupon page it's listed on so our team can address your issue as fast as possible.
How we make moneyWhen it comes to coupons, TechRadar earns money via a commission-based model. For every brand we have a coupon page for, we've negotiated a deal that means we earn a percentage of total basket value in commission back from every order.
Using this model means we can offer our coupons to our customers free of charge. You won't pay any fees to add your chosen coupon to your basket - you'll simply pay the final order total once your discount has been applied.
If you want to find out more about TechRadar's coupons pages, you can visit our dedicated page on How We Source Coupon Codes and How to Use Them for more information.
